REGINA NJOGU
Ms. Njogu has over 15 years experience as a legal practitioner. Her expertise spans a wide array of areas of practice including contested and uncontested divorce, child custody and visitation, collaborative family law, child support, paternity, property distribution, alimony, and cases involving domestic violence as well as the practice of immigration law. She is particularly adept at crafting winning strategies, reaching out of court settlements where appropriate, and effectively litigating cases in the courtroom. Ms. Njogu prides herself on her ability to build positive client relationships rooted in understanding and trust and on her commitment to serving people from diverse backgrounds which is evident through her work with underserved, disadvantaged, and indigent members of the community.
As a dedicated board member and volunteer attorney for a leading pro bono legal service provider in Prince George’s County, as well as a pro bono attorney for various other organizations throughout Maryland, Ms. Njogu continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need it most. In line with our commitment to make justice accessible to all, Access legal Services offers affordable legal representation to individuals and families that cannot afford the full cost of representation based on an income/poverty guidelines-based criteria.
Ms. Njogu also has a successful track record of representing and assisting immigrants looking for means to obtain legal status through various means such as eligible visas, legal permanent residence, asylum and citizenship. She also fervently represents individuals and families fighting deportation/removal before immigration court. A graduate of American University Washington College of Law, Ms. Njogu is licensed to practice in Maryland and New York.
